Volunteers, sponsors, and participants are encouraged to come together for fun and fundraising for the betterment of our community. Events typically include: Winter Carnival (Jan/Feb), Community Wide Yard Sale (1st Sat. in Jun), Canada Day (Jul 1), Regatta (Jul/Aug – Sat of Civic Holiday long weekend), Duck Race (Jul/Aug – Sun of Civic Holiday long weekend), Turkey Dinner & Fireworks (Sep/Oct – Sat before Thanksgiving), ‘Making Spirits Bright’ Village Tree Lighting (late Nov). Activities include: Service Clubs/Associations, Snowmobiling, Yoga Classes, Movie Nights, Yarn Circle, and so much more.
